Nina Simone

There is one thing that guides Nina Simone's life and work: Love. After her husband was diagnosed with Leukemia, Nina knew she needed to find a career that would help her provide for their family. At the time, she was working in the financial services sector and attending graduate school to become a therapist, but her husband's cancer diagnosis changed the course of her life. Soon, she discovered she had a passion for hair, and Nina fell in love with helping others take care of their manes.

Due to her passion for learning, Nina studied at the Paul Mitchell Schools, recognized as one of America's "Ivy League" cosmetology programs. There, Nina perfected her craft, picking up several skills that have helped her become a well-rounded, and highly sought-after, hair care professional.

Today, Nina is a licensed cosmetologist, barber, and make up artist with more than 14 years of experience. Extremely talented and versatile, Nina specializes in women's short cuts, color, natural hair, pressed styles, relaxers, and loc maintenance. A beloved stylist known for her in-depth consultations and friendly disposition, Nina services a diverse group of clients from across the gender and racial spectrum. Because it's always Nina's intention to meet and exceed the expectations of her guests, she infuses all of her interactions with love.
